My mother is in Atrium Hamlet. It'southward an excellent identify for 1'southward parents to exist in. Information technology's an excellent residence for ane'southward senior years. The rooms are beautiful, beautifully well-kept, well designed, and efficient. The rooms that I saw were equipped with their own cooking areas. My mom could do her own cooking and cleaning. The residents are encouraged to be independent and exercise as much as they can practise according to their own abilities. They have many activities for them to do. They were doing some entertaining activities that they've participated in. They had some coming in, and they encouraged them to participate in. They always have something going on. The staff seems to be on bespeak as far as having things well in place for them to keep them agile. The meals are included in the fee that you lot pay. She didn't treat the nutrient, so she was non a large fan of the food. I thought that it was OK.

I went to Atrium Village. They spent like two million dollars in renovating the place to bring it up to (I estimate) the electric current generation. It actually looks skilful. It had more than of a resort/hotel fashion environs. There's a lot of structure going on at the time, so they can only point out to me what the new dining room volition expect like and what the new activities will expect like. They had a barber shop. They had a very huge activity room with more than one idiot box. They had an arts and crafts room. They had an internet buffet. It was very, very nice. The place was very make clean. The residents appeared to be very happy. They were friendly, and the staff appeared to be preoccupied and decorated and handling things the mode that they should. Overall, that was an first-class place. The just reason why I didn't choose it was because it was out of the budget.

The care that my mom is getting at The Atrium Hamlet is fine so far. She hasn't been complaining about it. We had breakfast at that place together, and it was really adept. I toured The Atrium Hamlet and I thought information technology was well run. I had the opportunity to meet all the people in charge of diverse departments, and they were all extremely professional person, caring, and answered all my questions. It seemed like all the residents there are happy, and it looks like a existent community. At the stop of the day, they were able to work with me on the fiscal side of things and become me something that fits within our budget while even so getting the level of intendance that my mother needed. The food there looked excellent. Ane of the things I liked nigh the place was that there was a small kitchenette that's shared with another resident, and we tin store specific nutrient that my female parent needs that may not exist on the daily menu. They have all sorts of activities, fine art and music therapy, concerts in the foyer, and a little shopping mart, and they have happy hours.

The Atrium Hamlet was the all-time. I took time to locate the best customs and the all-time price. It was my selection, simply it didn't work out. The facility was first-class, the staff was excellent, the activities were all excellent, and the food was splendid. Everything most this community was perfect. It was very clean. The problem that I had there was that Mom wasn't ready to be in that location in assisted living.

We take been here at the Atrium Village for about eleven years, and we have been somewhat satisfied. The nutrient is not the best in the world, simply nosotros accept conveniences similar they accept us to the md if we want to go. It is a satisfactory place to alive in your senior years. The staff is very cooperative. There are so many people hither in wheelchairs, and it gets congested at times. Nosotros have a 3-room apartment with ii baths. I room nosotros use as a computer room, so a living room and a bedroom. There is a physical therapy facility in the building, which is run by Genesis, and it is an independent facility. In that location are planned trips, weekly trips to the grocery store, and occasional trips to the picture shows. We got 2 buses that they conform for transportation on various days.

The head nurse at the Atrium Village is very rude to both family unit members and staff. I moved my father out considering she was then nasty. In that location is a loftier turnover of employees and I believe she is i of the reasons. When you take a family member living under these circumstances y'all look the head nurse to be a caring individual. This is not the case at the Atrium Village.

Out of all the facilities I saw, The Atrium Village's food was the best, simply the general cleanliness and some of the appliances were very poor. I saw a studio room that was incredibly old and non in swell shape. The staff seemed OK, and they had a lot of activities.

I visited this facility
I toured the Atrium and it was cute, but it was a lilliputian besides expensive. The accommodation was clean, efficient and attractive. I saw a lot of people communicating and there weren't people sitting around doing cypher. They were participating in activities. I thought it was an excellent place from what I saw. It's very nice and personable. Notwithstanding, the altitude and the cost was the problem.

The Atrium Village had a nice setup, but since they were total, nosotros didn't spend a lot of time in that location. However, the atmosphere was very squeamish and welcoming. It was very nicely put together and laid out.

I was very impressed with the facilities at Atrium Hamlet. The people were very kind. They gave me a nice tour and showed me one of the rooms that my mother would have been living in. I talked to a few nice staff members. They also showed me the calendar of activities, which was pretty good and had a broad range of activities. Information technology's probably about a 20-minute bulldoze from the hospital. At that place's a little strip mall right beyond the street that had a grocery store, a pizzeria, and a bank.

It was wonderful. Everything about Atrium Village was fine -- the rooms, the food, the atmosphere. When I visited, they were setting up for a musical that 24-hour interval and were nigh to be entertained by someone playing the piano. At that place were people who were getting therapy done, and in that location was someone in the library using the computer, and in the pilus salon getting their hair washed.

The Atrium Village seemed overcrowded. There were so many people sitting all over the place, and they kind of looked very sorry. The staff was wonderful. The rooms and apartments were pocket-size, only they were prissy. They had a overnice dining room and practiced food. Virtually people were either in wheelchairs or walkers.

The Atrium Village was very similar to where my mother-in-law is now -- lots of activities and beautiful rooms. I haven't seen anybody including where she is right now whose rooms are equally nice as theirs for the price that you pay. The staff seemed very friendly, and they did have lots of planned activities, but yous pay for your level of care. Information technology'due south ane of those places that you actually tin can't count on where she's going to be a calendar month from at present equally far equally your finances. I visited this facility
In that location were several things that nosotros did not like nearly the Atrium Village. At that place were terrible odors on one of the floors that we went on, the entire floor smelled similar urine, and it was very outdated. There was one enormous area that people just kind of congregated in, and it just seemed to be non a good place for people who aren't used to large crowds or low vision, which my father has. The rooms were but small. We actually went into the dining room, and the dining room had a bad odor. They had nutrient similar they were placed out sitting in the room quite a bit for dinner time, and it was then hot in there I thought that the food was going to go bad. It was just actually not skillful. On 1 of the floors that we went on, the entire floor smelled like urine then, clearly, they were non taking care of their residents who had incontinency issues, so I think they are going to need more experienced staff. And they only need to upgrade the facility. It is a large place, so I can imagine it would toll millions of dollars to upgrade the place. Information technology was just an old building, and everything looked sometime and dingy. I would say it needs a remodel.

It was a very proficient, brief merely thorough, caption of what I could look at Atrium Village with an invitation to come back. I saw one or two of their rooms, and they looked very nice, clean, vivid, and pleasant. I didn't get to swallow, but I saw the dining setup, and it looked very homey and inviting to anyone who might want to eat to have a repast there. Atrium was very blusterous and open. The problem was that they had an outbreak of influenza of some sort and the gentleman was not able to show me the apartments. He apologized several times, and he took me over to another side, but it really wasn't the side where my mother would exist staying, and I understood that; I wasn't upset with that. That happens, and they have to follow the guidelines of the state regulations, but the person who hosted me was very informative and very helpful. The amenities were very nice. What I really liked was that the admirer knew what I was interested in, and he did follow-upward with me weeks afterward to say, "Hey, the room that you were interested in has get bachelor if I can help." It was a follow-up that was appreciated. I didn't take him up on information technology, just the point is that he was responsive and understood what I wanted and followed up with me. They take a lovely dining area. It was ready in a mode that you actually felt like you were going to a restaurant; it was very well-busy, very well-kept, and it would brand a resident there feel very welcome when served. Information technology was a very large place, and information technology had a regular independent living surface area, I believe it had an Alzheimer's department, and apparently the assisted living which is what my mother would demand. So, all in all, it was a very lovely place. It was physically a picayune farther from where my dwelling is, then I would accept to travel more to visit my mom and things like that, but it was even so dainty. It was more than modern living.

Nosotros initially were looking for independent living, only she is on the cusp. It turns out after a dr.'south appointment that she was more on the assisted side because she needs more assistance. This identify offers trivial studio apartments, so she still has a sense of having her own place with her ain key. She is not alone, so if she gets dislocated, somebody is there. The dining hall is very nice. It is very comfy and inviting. They have textile chairs, and it has a sense of a little dining room. The staff seems very friendly and very nice. They have a whole listing of schedule from arts to dance lessons to bingo and excursions.

The Atrium Hamlet had a room in each patient or client area where guests could come up, and my mother would be able to eat in her own room, and so it was the just place that I approved of. They would kickoff with a reasonable price, then would go up as needs ascend, and they had facilities for that. I loved information technology. I only talked to i person, and the ones that were passing the hall seemed friendly. The one affair that I didn't similar was someone was administering her meds. They had to get 15 minutes of fourth dimension for her to administer the medication. That was charged well-nigh by the minute, and I didn't like that. I as well didn't like that they just had one bath tub that yous could walk into, and you had to make an engagement to take that. However, I loved their dining surface area. We found a facility for my relatives called The Atrium (The Atrium Village). My cousin has only been at that place a week and her husband has been in that location for three weeks. They feel that the living room and the kitchen area are spacious plenty for them. They each have a twin bed and a dresser, and then they experience that their room is spacious enough. They are on the fourth floor. They would have rather had been lowered down and so they could see more, but they are happy with the room. The food is very expert. The staff, and so far, is very expert, except I noticed when the beds were made, the bed spreads were hanging out on the flooring, which were a adept cause for a autumn. However, the reception people were very friendly and helpful. With regards to sanitation of this place, so far, it is okay.

When I met the staff at The Atrium Village, they all seemed to be very caring people. They were very interested in what they could practise to assistance my female parent get accustomed to the place and what kind of activities she enjoyed doing. Information technology seemed they actually wanted to help her. I opted for my mom to stay there because they had a place bachelor and the toll was reasonable. She had a very pleasant room. There were activities every twenty-four hours, similar trivia, sing-alongs, bingo, etc. They came to her room and fabricated sure she got out and tried to interact with the other residents. Sometimes it was successful, sometimes it was not. Information technology would be improve if they kept the family a little bit informed. Although, it might not accept been their fault; it might have been my mom, since she had dementia. There was a time I asked when they picked upwards her laundry or cleaned the house, and they said it was on her door. It took three times for them to finally bank check that the schedule on her door was still there. Simply then, my mom took it down after they came.

This is a dandy value for independent living. Sales staff is dainty and informative still they demand to provide full disclosure on major repairs that will effect their tenants. They management squad needs to exist more collaborative . Right hand connecting to the left. Business organisation manager drops things at times or forgets. More often than not speaking stronger management team is needed so that all are in the loop. Terry at the front desk assumes a lot of responsibility . Work on more activities . Maintenance is proficient -y'all need additional people working in that expanse. Your repairs in the edifice need to be addressed. Proactively !! That being said this is a dainty place with room for improvement.

my mom has been a resident of the Atrium for over ten months and she is very pleased with the facilitates. the staff is overnice and very professional. the new manager, Mr. Darryl, is doing an excellent task in getting the place in ship shape. the staff in general are smashing and they are very kind and respectful to all the residents. i would rate this place a score of an A. if i had to say anything negative about the Atrium is that they need more than bingo and craft sessions for the residents. Bingo is played twice a week and the residents actually enjoy. they need information technology 3-v times a week. perhaps even a couple of casinos nights.

Mom is in Atrium Hamlet and she's doing good there. It is our choice because of the location and because the facility itself is very nice. My mom's room is very nice also. It is clean and roomy. They accept a lot of activities. She's doing occupational therapy. Some of the people there are good and some of them are not. I think they need a little bit more staff. But I volition recommend it to others.

I came beyond Atrium Hamlet through your website. They seem to be very nice. The rooms are very nice and spacious. There were a lot of people my age who were actively doing things all over the customs as opposed to sitting and watching the world go by. It looked to me that they had a lot of activities for people and I liked all of that. The thing that I didn't like, and this was a purely subjective judgement, was it seemed claustrophobic. Some of the other ones seemed to accept more open spaces. I was thinking that I would desire to get out of at that place right away to become practice something because it seemed claustrophobic to me.

I loved the facility, my grandmother lives there right now and I go visit her everyday, the staff is very friendly and I know that hse loves it there, there are many activites for the residents to practise and she seems happier than when she lived home alone. 5 stars

I visited this facility
I went to encounter Atrium Village in Owings Mills. They had three sample apartments, and I looked at the 1-bedroom in their independent living. It's very small, non unmanageable, but small. There were 2 closets that wouldn't even brand a good-size hall closet if you put them together. The building was nice, clean, and very attractive. They're doing a lot of renovations there also, merely it was just extremely small for me. They have an practice room, a library, and a pocket-sized theater. They also have a big community room. They become two meals a day. There are no outside activities unless they take trips to different places. They as well don't have swimming pools. Within, they have a billiards room, and other activities that they put together. They take reading groups and they have arts and crafts. I remember that considering I watched a group of people in their arts and crafts during my visit, but even that room was besides minor. They told me that they serve y'all your meals if y'all don't want to swallow in the dining room or the cafeteria. You could club meals too, but you take to pay for them separately.

I like The Atrium Village. The merely thing that I didn't like is that it was simply and so tiny, and I'm coming from a big home. I describe it every bit a matchbox, only everything else is fine. The menus were excellent. The food was very tasty and well-served. What I saw of the staff was wonderful. It was very nice. I liked the reception room going in the foyer. The sales managing director that I talked with was very skillful, very helpful, and very informative. The activities manager talked with me almost some of the things that they did there, and some of the residents at that place. They were friendly. Information technology was a mixed group of races which I similar. Information technology was clean. I simply didn't like the way that at that place were and then many seniors sitting around the anteroom, similar they're in a nursing dwelling house. They're but sitting there every bit if they were drugged, and non actually involved in doing annihilation. I didn't similar that, and I didn't like the kind of odor that I smelt when I went in. I looked at a one-bedroom with a den, merely other than that, information technology was beautiful. The outside was very nice. The grounds were kept up, and the inside was overnice. The activities manager was very kind and interesting, a jovial kind of person. That would be the place that I would consider.

I am/was a resident of this facility
I am at the Atrium Village with my son and I've been here for three years already, while he'south been here for about three and a half years. We share a ii-chamber flat in the contained living section and the apartment we have is lovely. There are ii private bedrooms, 2 individual baths, a small kitchen, a big living room, and a dining room. The people are nice, but the food is not very good. It could be better. Due to COVID they don't accept much things to do for virtually a yr and a half, but they're starting to have them now. Also, they have people out to different restaurants for meals, to grocery shopping, and to other stores if they want to. They accept us to the banking concern in one case a week, only they don't have skilful transportation to doctors and hospitals. It's very express. For example, my son and I, each one of us has a doctor's date either at the University of Maryland or Johns Hopkins Hospital, just they don't want to take us to either i. They're currently refurbishing the kitchen, the dining room, the lobby, and the whole place. It'due south all been torn upwardly for a couple of months already. I retrieve when it'due south finished, it's going to exist very squeamish. As people move out, they're redoing the apartments besides. There'south a movie identify here and somebody who talks about history a little bit. The facility has a history of poor management, frequent employee turnover, broken elevators, flooding in the dining room, water leaking in from windows, mold growing on the a/c unit, chock-full plumbing, common cold food, non-responsive staff and debiting your checking accounts for funds they are not entitled. This is based on the experiences of my parents over the past decade during which they had a to the lowest degree 5 different directors, and endless changes in the dining room management. They recently experienced significant management turnover at the facility and are working to encompass upward obvious problems with fresh pigment and flooring. The problems go much deeper.

The Atrium Village was make clean, and the rooms were very make clean and neat. The tour guide was actually helpful with the information that he gave to united states of america. Information technology was the place that I was thinking of putting my female parent in. They had a dining room, pottery store, trip the light fantastic activities, and a garden. They also had concrete therapy on-site, and dissimilar doctors that become and visit. They also had a home attendant who would come and aid that you accept to pay out-of-pocket for. The Atrium Hamlet's price was reasonable and what they offered was good. The apartments were very nice. My sister moved in on May 15th. The service is expert. We've had some glitches where I've been upset a couple of times. They tried to put u.s.a. in an apartment which was not adequate whatsoever. They did move usa to another flat, and the one nosotros're in now is prissy and my sis is enjoying it and actually likes information technology at that place. Maintenance is pretty adept. The only complaint I have is it'southward difficult to get the management because you're usually sidetracked past the receptionist at the desk in the front. The food was good, and they were accommodating. My sis hates the breakfast considering she says it's kind of greasy, only she does like dinner and she goes downwardly for that. They do a lot of trips, locally and overnight, practise, and bring in someone to play music in the anteroom. They have menu activities and bingo.

Atrium Hamlet's advent is very prissy. It'southward also very clean. Nigh of the staff is very nice and very helpful. The only problem is maintenance or getting things washed. My father had some borer noise in the ventilation in his bathroom. I had to tell the maintenance man how to set the borer noise. For twenty years I've remodeled bathrooms, and I had to teach the maintenance guy how to fix it. Overall, I similar the place, and I like the staff as well. The food is fantabulous. I've eaten at that place a few times and I recollect information technology's groovy. All the same, I call back the pricing is a fiddling on the high side, but not extremely. The toll could be a lilliputian better, and the maintenance could be a little better. Mostly the maintenance staff just needs more training. One or ii staff members I interacted with were a little abrasive, but more often than not, everyone is fine, similar the daughter at the front desk was a sweetheart, she was squeamish and helpful.

My mother felt that it was likewise large and overwhelming for her. They had a library and computers in in that location for the residents to apply. At one point they had a training class for the computers, which was impressive. They had laundry services and iii meals a day. They too had a small store on the site, so if the residents needed anything like toothpaste or other basic necessities, they could become right to the shop, which was run by the residents themselves. I was non at all pleased with the apartment in The Atrium Village. It was not appealing at all in that it was very small and not set well. Information technology was a lot less than what I had expected. They only showed me the one-chamber, though. The living room was very pocket-sized and would not have accommodated my furniture. There wasn't a place to sit down down and swallow. There was a kitchen with a sink, a refrigerator, and a stove merely no room to set up a table. The room was but a kitchen, bath, bedroom, and living room. They offered a lot of services if that's what you need and what y'all're looking for.

If the time comes that I need to get into a senior facility and The Atrium Village still looks the manner it does now, it would be the perfect place for me. Everyone was very pleasant and very informative. It would take been a better choice for my mom considering in two to 4 years' time, she would need the assisted living and not demand to transfer communities. Nosotros chose Atrium Village because of what they had to offering and the cost. Information technology is independent, but they accept dainty bells and whistles similar you have to cheque in everyday. We don't need assisted, but the contained. They did some housekeeping, and it comes with two meals. It's non like they were on their own, then that was a good fit for both of my parents.

Atrium Village was comfortable. I didn't have any major objections to it. I talked to the personnel, who gave me a prissy tour, and so I met with the person who I've been talking on the phone. They were nice and perfectly friendly. The rooms were not exceptional simply acceptable. The dining room was fine. They seemed to accept card games and practise rooms. But to be honest, I was more interested in the exterior; they have a dainty walk around the area.

She loves The Atrium Village. She qualifies in the independent living more so in the assisted living. They offering her breakfast and dinner, they're pretty much on their own for lunch. On Sundays, they offering brunch. Each flat has their ain kitchen and so they tin provide meals for themselves when they desire. Assisted living at Atrium Village in Owings Mills fails to see even the minimum standards of intendance. Our family member has been a resident for the past 6 months and we are moving him to another facility. He has been neglected, immune to develop painful rashes from failure to change his incontinence pads, failed to ensure that he got his meals and on one occasion did non have his prescribed, lifesaving medication on manus when he needed it, resulting in an unnecessary trip to the hospital. The list of negligence is too long to mention hither, but if you love your family member, do not place them at Atrium Village.
